When Sami Usalp came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Gölyaka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sami Usalp couldn't finish the play. Diyadin FK's Atak Üner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Usalp in the 9th minute of play. Alemdar Ruknettin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teoman Gürgen in the 10th minute of the match. Teoman Gürgen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alemdar Ruknettin having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gölyaka! 25 minutes into the match, Gölyaka's goal looked a bit too open when Teoman Gürgen came free, but Alemdar Ruknettin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gölyaka's attack was well implemented in the 29th minute, but when Yakut Tuğtaşı was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Alemdar Ruknettin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Atabek Mahmut fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diyadin FK's protests and gave Atabek Mahmut a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Atabek Mahmut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Yakut Tuğtaşı notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Diyadin FK's Atak Üner. Atak Üner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sami Usalp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Atak Üner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sami Usalp in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Yakut Tuğtaşı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gölyaka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After 65 played minutes Diyadin FK got a freekick which was hit by Aybar Sahadettin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yakut Tuğtaşı in the 66th minute of play forced Diyadin FK's goalkeeper Atak Üner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ömer Rıza Dinçay hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Yakut Tuğtaşı might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atak Üner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yakut Tuğtaşı ran back to his position shaking his head. Atak Üner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sami Usalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diyadin FK's Atak Üner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Usalp in the 81st minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Teoman Gürgen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diyadin FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teoman Gürgen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Gölyaka getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Duman Övünç hit a great ball. Yakut Tuğtaşı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
