An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Namık Kemal Salman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mert Dilhun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mansur Tümkurt in the 25th minute of the match. Mert Dilhun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mansur Tümkurt's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Bayhan Uluçkan hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Mert Dilhun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuz Selim Semih, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Mert Dilhun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mansur Tümkurt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
