After a rather tough play, KASTAMONUSPOR's Derviş Keskin got a free kick in the 39th minute. Yıldıray Şamil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rıfkı Rekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sancarbey Canpolat made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Sancarbey Canpolat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KASTAMONUSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sancarbey Canpolat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rıfkı Rekin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Çağdaş Esenboğa couldn't finish the play.
