KASTAMONUSPOR's Yıldıray Şamil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rıfkı Rekin in the 10th minute of play. KASTAMONUSPOR's Derviş Keskin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aytunç Şener, made in the 15th minute of the game. In the 15th minute, Sancarbey Canpolat reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dilaver Sayhan. The goal made the score 1-0. Dilaver Sayhan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sancarbey Canpolat went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Güner Korhan kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Sabit Esentürk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KASTAMONUSPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ARTVİN SK the free kick. A collision led to KASTAMONUSPOR getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Sabit Esentürk hit a great ball. If Sancarbey Canpolat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kıvanç Ersayın's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yıldıray Şamil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Dilaver Sayhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yağızalp Malik, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Sancarbey Canpolat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dilaver Sayhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafettin Adıyaman made a kick off. Kıvanç Ersayın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yıldıray Şamil having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Sancarbey Canpolat notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ARTVİN SK's Dilaver Sayhan. The referee showed Sancarbey Canpolat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yıldıray Şamil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafettin Adıyaman in the 96th minute of play. ARTVİN SK were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
