In the 7th minute, Akgün Çerağ ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Recep Bakanay was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Cibali's Lefter Boratay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Recep Bakanay. That made the score 2-0 after 10 minutes of play. Mehmet Bilge Reyyan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ender Tekiner having to interfere. Tuna Bilgen's late challenge caught a Cibali's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tuna Bilgen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Civril getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Tuna Bilgen hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Timur Nuratay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cibali's supporters rose to their feet, but Timur Nuratay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Recep Bakanay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Cibali booed when Civril was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sezai Oğuzata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Recep Bakanay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akgün Çerağ, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Ender Tekiner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Bilge Reyyan in the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tuna Bilgen in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ender Tekiner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mehmet Bilge Reyyan struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Ender Tekiner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Civril. 37 minutes into the game, Civril's Artaç Orgen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ender Tekiner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The supporters of Cibali booed when Civril was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuna Bilgen didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Akgün Çerağ made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, one of Civril:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Civril. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Cibali. Ahmet Koralp Kutertan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Recep Bakanay. 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Bilge Reyyan in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ender Tekiner saved Cibali from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timur Nuratay in the 62nd minute of play forced Civril's goalkeeper Recep Bakanay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Recep Bakanay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timur Nuratay went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. If Timur Nuratay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Civril getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Sezai Oğuzata hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Civril's zone, Timur Nuratay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Recep Bakanay came out of the goal and Timur Nuratay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timur Nuratay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Timur Nuratay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Recep Bakanay. Civril's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timur Nuratay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1.
