The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cankut Adar was the one to do the kick off. Ataköy FK's Hürkan Çetinalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Ataköy FK from getting a goal against them. Cankut Adar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutalp Öztanır having to interfere. A collision led to Ataköy FK getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ahmet Çağrı Babaoğlu hit a great ball. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ataköy FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Göktürk Arıhan was slow to take the kick. During this time Van's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Göktürk Arıhan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hürkan Çetinalp quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 63 minutes into the game, Van's Orhan Veli Iğdırlı nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hürkan Çetinalp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With his leg Hürkan Çetinalp managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Van's Gazanfer Özcan Kelim fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gazanfer Özcan Kelim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Hürkan Çetinalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gazanfer Özcan Kelim in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hürkan Çetinalp saved Ataköy FK from getting behind. After recieving a nice pass, Ataköy FK's Anıl Arda Tüzünalp tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Cankut Adar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ataköy FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Cankut Adar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kutalp Öztanır breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Orhan Veli Iğdırlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cankut Adar in the 91st minute of play forced Van's goalkeeper Kutalp Öztanır to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ataköy FK's Cankut Adar got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Cankut Adar, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 96 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Kutalp Öztanır was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Van's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
