Mustafa Hamit Orbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orhan Veli Iğdırlı in the 75th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Van's zone, Mithat Akkılıç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kutalp Öztanır came out of the goal and Mithat Akkılıç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Van's goalkeeper Kutalp Öztanır had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mithat Akkılıç. In the 80th minute, Recai Kongur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orhan Veli Iğdırlı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Hamit Orbey having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gazanfer Özcan Kelim in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafa Hamit Orbey saved Istanbul Bosphorus from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, Gazanfer Özcan Kelim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mustafa Hamit Orbey. Istanbul Bosphorus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gazanfer Özcan Kelim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Orhan Veli Iğdırlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
