After taking down the ball on İSOTSPOR SK's corner Ünal Ezgü fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kutalp Öztanır quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fatih Miran in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kutalp Öztanır prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Van booed when İSOTSPOR SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Numan Toygar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Özal Ulualp recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Olcay Orkun Uzcan. Özal Ulualp showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in İSOTSPOR SK's zone, Asım Geçimoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olcay Orkun Uzcan came out of the goal and Asım Geçimoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orhan Veli Iğdırlı in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Olcay Orkun Uzcan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 41st minute, kaya Uğurcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olcay Orkun Uzcan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Göktürk Arıhan. 44 minutes into the game, Mehdi Nasreddin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Van's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave İSOTSPOR SK the free kick. Mehdi Nasreddin kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

Mustafa Orhan Şamil took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olcay Orkun Uzcan. Olcay Orkun Uzcan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gazanfer Özcan Kelim in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olcay Orkun Uzcan saved İSOTSPOR SK from getting behind. When Ünal Ezgü fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored İSOTSPOR SK's protests and gave Ünal Ezgü a yellow card for diving instead. It was beautiful to see Van's Özal Ulualp in action when he in the 65th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 66 played minutes İSOTSPOR SK got a freekick which was hit by Numan Toygar. In the 67th minute of the match Göktürk Arıhan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olcay Orkun Uzcan skillfully saved the ball. Kutalp Öztanır had great luck who in the 75thth minute grab hold of the ball when Fatih Miran from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a rather tough play, Van's Asım Geçimoğlu got a free kick in the 75th minute. If Fatih Miran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olcay Orkun Uzcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gazanfer Özcan Kelim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fatih Miran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutalp Öztanır having to interfere. kaya Uğurcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Van's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
