After 24 minutes of play, Istanbul Bosphorus's Cemil Yıldız made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gürhan Hezarfen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute Hacı Yıldıray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Hamit Orbey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Abayhan Taze fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yunusemre spor's protests and gave Abayhan Taze a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Yunusemre spor's Abayhan Taze got a free kick in the 29th minute. After having played for 31 minutes, Hacı Yıldıray managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yunusemre spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hacı Yıldıray was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bircan Zahir charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bircan Zahir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute of the match Nusrettin Geylanoğlu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gürhan Hezarfen skillfully saved the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Recai Kongur made a kick off. Hacı Yıldıray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Mustafa Hamit Orbey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mithat Akkılıç got free with Gürhan Hezarfen in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hamza Uygur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mustafa Hamit Orbey having to make a save. In the 65th minute, Erdal Özker sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Istanbul Bosphorus's Mustafa Hamit Orbey didn't even have to move. Sancarbey Urkan kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Tahir Şahkar sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Gürhan Hezarfen threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Tahir Şahkar this time. In the 75th minute, Abayhan Taze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Berke Özkul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mithat Akkılıç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes Yunusemre spor got a freekick which was hit by Erdi Acaröz. In the 90th minute, Istanbul Bosphorus's Mithat Akkılıç dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Mustafa Hamit Orbey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hacı Yıldıray, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Istanbul Bosphorus had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
