Bahadır Uyun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceyhan Ortun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hacı Yıldıray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Bircan Zahir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berke Özkul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahadır Uyun having to interfere. With an all-out effort, İstanbul United's Gürhan Hezarfen threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tarkan Özdoa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gürhan Hezarfen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarkan Özdoa in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Atay Balabey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 36 minutes, Ceyhan Ortun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yunusemre spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceyhan Ortun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute Ceyhan Ortun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahadır Uyun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ceyhan Ortun hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Erdi Acaröz kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Yunusemre spor's Berke Özkul nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bahadır Uyun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1.

If Ahmet Arif Timuroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berke Özkul struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Bahadır Uyun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yunusemre spor. Berke Özkul took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bahadır Uyun. Bahadır Uyun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 67th minute Hacı Yıldıray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahadır Uyun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceyhan Ortun in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bahadır Uyun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Selçuk Avcıoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored İstanbul United's protests and gave Selçuk Avcıoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to İstanbul United getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Selçuk Avcıoğlu hit a great ball. Gürhan Hezarfen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Arif Timuroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Ahmet Arif Timuroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gürhan Hezarfen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yunusemre spor's Gürhan Hezarfen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Arif Timuroz in the 86th minute of play. Ahmet Arif Timuroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute.
