Samim Yöntem went to the wrong direction when Ahmet İlhan Saik was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. With his leg Samim Yöntem managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when HATAY SPOR 1907's Efe Torehan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Raşit Akburç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halit Fahri Sadi in the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Halit Günay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HATAY SPOR 1907's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fethiye FK the free kick. Halit Günay kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Seyhan Ülküm might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raşit Akburç. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Seyhan Ülküm ran back to his position shaking his head. If Seyhan Ülküm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halit Fahri Sadi in the 26th minute of play forced HATAY SPOR 1907's goalkeeper Raşit Akburç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raşit Akburç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seyhan Ülküm, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Halit Fahri Sadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Halit Fahri Sadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Seyhan Ülküm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raşit Akburç having to interfere. HATAY SPOR 1907's Raşit Akburç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halit Fahri Sadi in the 45th minute of play. After 47 played minutes Fethiye FK got a freekick which was hit by Arif Nihat Hafi.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Halit Fahri Sadi made a kick off. If Halit Fahri Sadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th match minute, HATAY SPOR 1907 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vedat Sağman to maneuver through the defense. Fethiye FK's Kaptan Hayal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Raşit Akburç but with some difficulty. Raşit Akburç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halit Fahri Sadi in the 58th minute of the match. After 60 minutes HATAY SPOR 1907's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kaptan Hayal who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Kaptan Hayal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Raşit Akburç quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efe Torehan in the 62nd minute of play forced Fethiye FK's goalkeeper Samim Yöntem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efe Torehan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Samim Yöntem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seyhan Ülküm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raşit Akburç read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. If Halit Fahri Sadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Halit Fahri Sadi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raşit Akburç having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Fethiye FK's Halit Fahri Sadi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Raşit Akburç. That made the score 0-2 after 87 minutes of play. Raşit Akburç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Nihat Hafi in the 92nd minute of play. When Halit Fahri Sadi came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Fethiye FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Halit Fahri Sadi couldn't finish the play. Fethiye FK played a much better game than HATAY SPOR 1907 and deserved their victory. The HATAY SPOR 1907 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
