The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Abdi Başat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olcay Orkun Uzcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fatih Miran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fatih Miran might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İsmet Tecik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fatih Miran ran back to his position shaking his head. İsmet Tecik came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by İSOTSPOR SK's Fatih Miran. But to his dismay, Fatih Miran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Abdi Başat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olcay Orkun Uzcan having to interfere. Abdi Başat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Olcay Orkun Uzcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Erenköy's zone, Ersan Batı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İsmet Tecik came out of the goal and Ersan Batı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. İSOTSPOR SK's Olcay Orkun Uzcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Başat in the 36th minute of play. Ersan Batı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but İsmet Tecik made a huge save. When Çağatay Bahadıroğlu fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Erenköy's protests and gave Çağatay Bahadıroğlu a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Erenköy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! Ünal Ezgü walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fatih Miran made a kick off. İsmet Tecik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ersan Batı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 played minutes İSOTSPOR SK got a freekick which was hit by Numan Toygar. Fatih Miran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. İsmet Tecik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Erenköy booed when İSOTSPOR SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. kaya Uğurcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. İsmet Tecik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fatih Miran, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 72 played minutes İSOTSPOR SK got a freekick which was hit by kaya Uğurcan. After a defensive mix-up in Erenköy's zone, Fatih Miran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İsmet Tecik came out of the goal and Fatih Miran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ferhat Soyuer's late challenge caught a Erenköy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferhat Soyuer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Erenköy booed when İSOTSPOR SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferhat Soyuer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fuat Afşar struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Olcay Orkun Uzcan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erenköy. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
