Ataköy FK's Ahmet Boran Utku got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cankut Adar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Hamit Orbey having to interfere. Ahmet Boran Utku who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Mustafa Hamit Orbey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cankut Adar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Mustafa Hamit Orbey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Recai Kongur made a kick off. Hürkan Çetinalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mithat Akkılıç in the 52nd minute. Ataköy FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anıl Arda Tüzünalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
