In the 31st minute Galip Sarper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emrullah Başbuğoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Galip Sarper left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Avanos SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Galip Sarper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute Galip Sarper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emrullah Başbuğoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Alperen Gürgan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gördes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avanos SK the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Galip Sarper managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avanos SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Galip Sarper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emrullah Başbuğoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Galip Sarper's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emrullah Başbuğoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Emrullah Başbuğoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Galip Sarper in the 58th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Galip Sarper in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emrullah Başbuğoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Göktan Karakaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Gördes's goal looked a bit too open when Galip Sarper came free, but Emrullah Başbuğoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Gördes getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Tarkan Yalınay hit a great ball. Gördes's Emrullah Başbuğoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Gördes from getting a goal against them. Emrullah Başbuğoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Göktan Karakaya in the 74th minute. In the 78th minute, Göktan Karakaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galip Sarper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Alperen Gürgan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Galip Sarper got free with Emrullah Başbuğoğlu in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Göktan Karakaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Emrullah Başbuğoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Avanos SK's Galip Sarper dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The Gördes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Avanos SK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
