Muzaffer Fırıncıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burç Tumbay having to interfere. Ateş Kura's late challenge caught a Fatih Karagümrük SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ateş Kura helped the player get up and apologised. Ateş Kura kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Ilgaz Karaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hazar Ersevim, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Emin Seyban kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fatih Karagümrük SK's zone, Kaptan Durna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Burç Tumbay came out of the goal and Kaptan Durna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes in the game, Muzaffer Fırıncıoğlu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Burç Tumbay having to interfere. Burç Tumbay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaptan Durna in the 41st minute. Muzaffer Fırıncıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Burç Tumbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Burç Tumbay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muzaffer Fırıncıoğlu in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute Göksel Şemseddin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilgaz Karaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Muzaffer Fırıncıoğlu to make the kick off. In the 68th minute Muzaffer Fırıncıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burç Tumbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Göksel Şemseddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilgaz Karaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hazar Ersevim in the 73rd minute of the match. Burç Tumbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaptan Durna, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78th play minute Göksel Şemseddin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ilgaz Karaman. 1-1. Ilgaz Karaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hazar Ersevim in the 85th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Fikret Ula mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 55 Terme F.C.™ and the Fatih Karagümrük SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Hazar Ersevim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute.
