They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Göktan Temizsan to make the kick off. When Barış Özsahin came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Esenler fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barış Özsahin couldn't finish the play. Baykan's Mevlüt Satvet got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79thth minute of the game Mevlüt Satvet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esenler's Baturalp Akıncıbeyoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Göktan Temizsan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Göktan Temizsan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Orhan Seyfi Oykut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An annoying self made goal, 1-2. When Buğra Kultigin fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baykan's protests and gave Buğra Kultigin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Baykan getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Buğra Kultigin hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Baykan's goal looked a bit too open when Barış Özsahin came free, but Orhan Seyfi Oykut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
