After 21 played minutes Elazig got a freekick which was hit by Asım Arif Dağdelen. Elazig's Efekan Akyazıcı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Elazig from getting a goal against them. After 25 minutes of play, Elazig's Güner Hafız made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Batu Reşat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ersan Ertüze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Güner Hafız took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Batu Reşat. After having played for 35 minutes, Ersan Ertüze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elazig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ersan Ertüze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Güner Hafız received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Batu Reşat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Güner Hafız managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elazig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Güner Hafız was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rohan's Batu Reşat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güner Hafız in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sinan Tigin made a kick off. In the 58th minute Güner Hafız shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batu Reşat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Rohan booed when Elazig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ayhan Haymanalı didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ant Esendağ in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efekan Akyazıcı saved Elazig from getting behind. In the 62nd minute, Güner Hafız reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Batu Reşat. The goal made the score 0-5. Ersan Özveren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ersan Ertüze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ersan Ertüze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batu Reşat having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Güner Hafız got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Güner Hafız succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. After 91 minutes, Cezmi Şerif mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rohan and the Elazig players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Cezmi Şerif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cezmi Şerif recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ant Esendağ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elazig played a much better game than Rohan and deserved their victory. The Rohan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
