Arcan Uçanay charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Kamber Eraslan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esat Tamay having to interfere. Davut Altıparmak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caner Tefhim having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Günesli got a freekick which was hit by Ataman Alyakut. When Ziya Onur Ongar came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Günesli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ziya Onur Ongar couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Günesli getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Yavuz Selimhan Akartürk hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Davut Altıparmak fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Caner Tefhim, passed just outside the right post. If Ataman Alyakut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ziya Onur Ongar was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Baliseyh getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Erenay Özilhan hit a great ball. Günesli's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ekber Çubuk in the 54th minute. The corner ended in Ekber Çubuk almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Baliseyh's Esat Tamay did a great save. Caner Tefhim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davut Altıparmak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baliseyh's Esat Tamay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziya Onur Ongar in the 61st minute of play. Davut Altıparmak might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caner Tefhim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Davut Altıparmak ran back to his position shaking his head. Kamber Eraslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Baliseyh's goal looked a bit too open when Ziya Onur Ongar came free, but Esat Tamay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 played minutes Günesli got a freekick which was hit by Ataman Alyakut. Caner Tefhim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davut Altıparmak in the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Baliseyh's Doğa Sabuncu got a free kick in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Baliseyh's goalkeeper Esat Tamay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kamber Eraslan. In the 80th minute Ziya Onur Ongar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esat Tamay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Günesli's Caner Tefhim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rüknettin Oyhan in the 85th minute of play. Günesli's Kamber Eraslan got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kamber Eraslan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Esat Tamay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kamber Eraslan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Esat Tamay skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 92nd minute, Ziya Onur Ongar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Günesli booed when Baliseyh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gürol Sudi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Günesli supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Günesli would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
