Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ferid Oncel kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Oğuz Taşer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Bilge Tekinel was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Karahalli were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Nisantasi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eric Staton took the corner. Mehmet Bilge Tekinel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rüştü Mahçup, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rüştü Mahçup in the 18th minute of play forced Nisantasi's goalkeeper Mehmet Bilge Tekinel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Bilge Tekinel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rüştü Mahçup in the 20th minute of play. Nisantasi:s Mehmet Bilge Tekinel showed great skill when he stopped Eric Staton:s penalty. A collision led to Nisantasi getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Hurşit Şimşek hit a great ball. Mehmet Bilge Tekinel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mahir Bektaş in the 37th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Nisantasi got a freekick which was hit by Ilgaz Zikri. Mehmet Bilge Tekinel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oğuz Taşer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şentürk Ongul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Karahalli's zone, Hurşit Şimşek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Türk came out of the goal and Hurşit Şimşek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
After 51 played minutes Nisantasi got a freekick which was hit by Reşat Kuthan. Nisantasi's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rüştü Mahçup 54 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. Rüştü Mahçup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Bilge Tekinel having to interfere. Nisantasi made a substitution. Gökcan Ongu replaced Ferid Oncel. 69 minutes into the match, Nisantasi's goalkeeper Mehmet Bilge Tekinel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oğuz Taşer. In the 76th match minute, Nisantasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şentürk Ongul to maneuver through the defense. John Türk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökcan Ongu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Nisantasi's Mehmet Bilge Tekinel got control of the ball when Oğuz Taşer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gökcan Ongu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Bilge Tekinel made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Yakup Kadri Belek sent off a good shot on target. After 95th play minutes Gökcan Ongu shot 1-1, a short shot which went by John Türk and just under the crossbar into goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Karahalli players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
