The audience was convinced that Halil Akçınar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hasan Can Turatekin was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Halil Akçınar put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Hasan Can Turatekin. Sungurhan Ulubay took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arif Oğuz Avcı. Arif Oğuz Avcı dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sungurhan Ulubay in the 26th minute of play forced Tethys FC's goalkeeper Arif Oğuz Avcı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Halil Akçınar in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hasan Can Turatekin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Halil Akçınar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hasan Can Turatekin was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Halit Elmastaş's late challenge caught a Tethys FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Halit Elmastaş helped the player get up and apologised. Halit Elmastaş hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Baran Alp Durualp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Hasan Can Turatekin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Tethys FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Halil Akçınar made the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes, FC Gölge Haramileri's Olcay Orkun İlkcan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arif Oğuz Avcı came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Gölge Haramileri reached it. Arif Oğuz Avcı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sungurhan Ulubay, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th match minute, FC Gölge Haramileri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İsmail Cem Zihni to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, FC Gölge Haramileri's goalkeeper Hasan Can Turatekin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Halil Akçınar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saip Teksen couldn't finish the play. Tethys FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Halit Elmastaş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Tethys FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
