But to his dismay, Tim Cahill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tansu Ocakoğlu in the 22nd minute of play forced Asbuzu's goalkeeper Fatih Sefer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, BenedeX's Tim Cahill sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fatih Sefer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tim Cahill in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fatih Sefer saved Asbuzu from getting behind. 35 minutes into the game, BenedeX's Tim Cahill nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fatih Sefer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Tim Cahill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tim Cahill struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Fatih Sefer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BenedeX. After the first half BenedeX were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the match, Asbuzu's Gürol Tümerdem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bayram Tapgaç narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tim Cahill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fatih Sefer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After 60 minutes of play, Asbuzu's Mustafa Yaşar Titiz made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bayram Tapgaç was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 63 minutes, Tim Cahill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Tim Cahill managed to get in a good position for a shot. BenedeX's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Cahill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fatih Sefer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute Selmi Ahmetoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayram Tapgaç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tansu Ocakoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fatih Sefer having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mustafa Yaşar Titiz during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bayram Tapgaç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürol Tümerdem, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Tim Cahills short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Fatih Sefer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ahmet Harun Okdemir hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
