Batu Cem Beşir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasan Hüseyin Deryace, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Bakkalköy JK's Battal Tugay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Batu Cem Beşir. Batu Cem Beşir yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Emrah Erserim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Batu Cem Beşir made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Batu Cem Beşir successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 23rd minute of the match, Emrah Erserim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Batu Cem Beşir was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emrah Erserim got free with Batu Cem Beşir in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 28 played minutes Sabanözü got a freekick which was hit by Ercüment Baysu. In the 31st match minute, Sabanözü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nihat Albayrak to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Emrah Erserim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Batu Cem Beşir. That made the score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Battal Tugay took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Batu Cem Beşir to make any attempt to save it. 44 minutes into the game, Battal Tugay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bakkalköy JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sabanözü the free kick. A collision led to Bakkalköy JK getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Battal Tugay hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Cihangir Ersayın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Cihangir Ersayın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabanözü's supporters rose to their feet, but Cihangir Ersayın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aktan Arkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ercüment Baysu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Emrah Şahan kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Volkan Sorgun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aktan Arkan came out and tried to block the shot, but Volkan Sorgun slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 62nd minute. Batu Cem Beşir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emrah Erserim in the 67th minute of the match. During the 68th minute of the match Mehmet Emrah Şahan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mehmet Emrah Şahan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The audience was convinced that Emrah Erserim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Batu Cem Beşir was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Cihangir Ersayın struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Aktan Arkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sabanözü. Yahya Kemal Çaykara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Hasan Hüseyin Deryace hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Bakkalköy JK's Aktan Arkan got control of the ball when Hakkı Kenan Kartekin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cihangir Ersayın's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aktan Arkan was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. A collision led to Bakkalköy JK getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ahmet Korcan Kutel hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erberk Türksan got free with Aktan Arkan in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Bakkalköy JK were victorious despite being under pressure from Sabanözü for much of the match.
