Ant Tutkun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Akcaabat's İsmail Cam got a free kick in the 20th minute. Ant Tutkun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serhat Oktan, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Taci Durak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Akcaabat's supporters rose to their feet, but Taci Durak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ant Tutkun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Korkutalp Parsbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ant Tutkun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for RiverPlate! İsmail Cam placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Robert Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korkutalp Erandaç in the 43rd minute of the match. When Akcaabat's Serhat Oktan in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RiverPlate's goalie prevented a goal.

The wind increased when Korkutalp Erandaç made the kick off in the second half. Robert Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korkutalp Erandaç, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Taci Durak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ant Tutkun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind RiverPlate's goalkeeper Ant Tutkun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, RiverPlate's goal looked a bit too open when Bircan Savtur came free, but Ant Tutkun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Korkutalp Erandaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Pires having to interfere. Taci Durak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 82nd minute Fadıl Gürgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bircan Savtur charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bircan Savtur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bircan Savtur hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 90 minutes of play, RiverPlate's Korkutalp Erandaç made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Pires was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fadıl Gürgan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oğuzer Giryar during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oğuzer Giryar hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Akcaabat players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RiverPlate.
