In the 23rd minute Yusuf Bahadır Taylak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şeray Tanay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Tolga Başkur dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Şevket Kartal, 1-0. Oyak's Şevket Kartal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamuran Geçimoğlu in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Altuğ Ünsan in the 34th minute of play forced Oyak's goalkeeper Şevket Kartal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Turabi Mengüer hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Şevket Kartal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolga Başkur in the 38th minute of play. Mustafa Hakan Şanlı hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Şevket Kartal was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Erdoğan Saban. 42 minutes into the game, Sefa Tuney was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oyak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seydisehir the free kick. Şevket Kartal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamuran Geçimoğlu in the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tolga Başkur made a kick off. Şevket Kartal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamuran Geçimoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Şevket Kartal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tolga Başkur went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute, Turabi Mengüer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şeray Tanay was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
