Spectators: 7270 (Terracing: 5454, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) SAYAR's Fazlı Sertaç started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute of the match, Akif Rüstem got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ahmet Boran Yılkan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, SAYAR's Fazlı Sertaç got a free kick in the 7th minute. SAYAR's Ahmet Boran Yılkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erol Özinal in the 18th minute of play. Akif Rüstem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ahmet Boran Yılkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, SAYAR's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Baran Tugay came free, but Ahmet Boran Yılkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Uzunköprü getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Yüksel Yalçuk hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Akif Rüstem in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Boran Yılkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fazlı Sertaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nejat Alp Arkan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Akif Rüstem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uzunköprü's supporters rose to their feet, but Akif Rüstem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Boran Yılkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd match minute, SAYAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İzzet Ünzil to maneuver through the defense. Fazlı Sertaç charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fazlı Sertaç the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ahmet Boran Yılkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Baran Tugay in the 96th minute of play. If Akif Rüstem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uzunköprü's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
