Arda Tatu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ceyhun Öğüç during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mengen getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ceyhun Öğüç hit a great ball. With a little luck, Mengen's İdris Kalender got control of the ball when Erhun Şennur tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute Ceyhun Öğüç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cüneyt Arınç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ceyhun Öğüç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cüneyt Arınç was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Seyfi Kabakçı in the 60th minute of play forced Mengen's goalkeeper İdris Kalender to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th match minute, Mengen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüsnü Servet to maneuver through the defense. After 80 played minutes, Sütcüler's Ahmet Seyfi Kabakçı shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper İdris Kalender came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Arda Tatu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Cüneyt Arınç made a huge save. When the match was over Mengen could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sütcüler throughout the match.
