HiLaLiM FC's Yahya Hürmetli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save HiLaLiM FC from getting a goal against them. Yahya Hürmetli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haluk Işın, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Alptuğ Dilsaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kuddusî Olgunay in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Haluk Işın was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TRABZON SPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HiLaLiM FC the free kick. The supporters of HiLaLiM FC booed when TRABZON SPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haluk Işın didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Arif Nihat Akpolat in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by HiLaLiM FC's Güngör Bakırhan. After some careless play in the HiLaLiM FC defense, Vecdi Keçeli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yahya Hürmetli. The HiLaLiM FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yahya Hürmetli should have stopped the shot. After 24 played minutes TRABZON SPOR got a freekick which was hit by Göktuğ İzzet. After 25 played minutes HiLaLiM FC got a freekick which was hit by Yaşar Eker. Yahya Hürmetli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Haluk Işın in the 27th minute. Behiç Tümkut blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alptuğ Dilsaz having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behiç Tümkut in the 47th minute of play forced TRABZON SPOR's goalkeeper Alptuğ Dilsaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Behiç Tümkut made the kick off in the second half. If Yaşar Eker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. HiLaLiM FC's attentive Güngör Bakırhan managed to snatch the ball when Arif Nihat Akpolat made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. After 66 played minutes HiLaLiM FC got a freekick which was hit by Güngör Bakırhan. In the 67th minute, Tolga Hacıfettahoğlu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and HiLaLiM FC's Yahya Hürmetli didn't even have to move. Yahya Hürmetli came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by TRABZON SPOR's Haluk Işın. But to his dismay, Haluk Işın quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Yahya Hürmetli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vecdi Keçeli went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 82 minutes into the game, Güngör Bakırhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HiLaLiM FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TRABZON SPOR the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behiç Tümkut in the 87th minute of play forced TRABZON SPOR's goalkeeper Alptuğ Dilsaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alptuğ Dilsaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behiç Tümkut in the 89th minute of play. Alptuğ Dilsaz came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by HiLaLiM FC's Behiç Tümkut. But to his dismay, Behiç Tümkut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Behiç Tümkut received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alptuğ Dilsaz came out and tried to block the shot, but Behiç Tümkut slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 96th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. TRABZON SPOR were victorious despite being under pressure from HiLaLiM FC for much of the match.
