Deniz Akbaşak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Abrantes in the 4th minute of the match. Sami Kazım scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Deniz Akbaşak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Deniz Akbaşak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lamar Phua in the 11th minute of play. S.P.Q.R. were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Yüreğir's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Duarte Abrantes took the corner. S.P.Q.R.'s Duarte Abrantes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Deniz Akbaşak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lamar Phua took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Deniz Akbaşak. Deniz Akbaşak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Deniz Akbaşak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lamar Phua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Sami Kazım shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deniz Akbaşak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 minutes of play, S.P.Q.R.'s Duarte Abrantes made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Deniz Akbaşak was left in no man's land by his defense there! 25 minutes into the match, Lamar Phua notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Yüreğir's Deniz Akbaşak. Deniz Akbaşak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yüreğir! The referee gave S.P.Q.R. a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Duarte Abrantes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Yüreğir's Deniz Akbaşak. 0-6. 36 minutes into the match, Yüreğir's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Abrantes came free, but Deniz Akbaşak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 顾强平's late challenge caught a S.P.Q.R.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 顾强平 helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Yüreğir's 顾强平 got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 38 minutes of play, S.P.Q.R.'s Carlos Marchena made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Deniz Akbaşak was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute, Sami Kazım made a precise shot to the right of Deniz Akbaşak. Yüreğir's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Jorge Sennrich kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Garip Erseç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lamar Phua to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Musa Dervişoğlu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Deniz Akbaşak, 0-9. Yüreğir's Jorge Sennrich got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Lamar Phua ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Deniz Akbaşak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Deniz Akbaşak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lamar Phua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deniz Akbaşak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garip Erseç in the 82nd minute. S.P.Q.R.'s Everardo Blanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merih Kargin in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, S.P.Q.R.'s Lamar Phua ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Deniz Akbaşak. Deniz Akbaşak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-13. Deniz Akbaşak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Abrantes in the 90th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Bülent Ustaoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Yüreğir's goal looked a bit too open when Sami Kazım came free, but Deniz Akbaşak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Duarte Abrantes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Deniz Akbaşak. That made the score 0-14 in the 97 minute of play. S.P.Q.R. played a much better game than Yüreğir and deserved their victory. The Yüreğir players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
