Spectators: 7350 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 150) İzmir FC's Emir İlksel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to İzmir FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Çağrı Burçak hit a great ball. Barbaros Başöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halil Utku Mert having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Demir Arısal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 12 played minutes Bahcekapi got a freekick which was hit by Paşa Ali Celilay. In the game's 12th minute İzmir FC's Ahmet Efe Baykurt took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Halil Utku Mert and thus the score was 0-1. Suphi Evcimen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Demir Arısal having to make a save. After a rather tough play, İzmir FC's Binali Dilazad got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Demir Arısal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Suphi Evcimen in the 23rd minute. Kerim Titiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Kerim Titiz made a precise shot to the right of Demir Arısal. İzmir FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Kerim Titiz in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Demir Arısal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arif Egemen Bucuklu kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Suphi Evcimen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demir Arısal having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Bahcekapi got a freekick which was hit by Sezai Alkın. İzmir FC's Emir İlksel got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Paşa Ali Celilay kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Ahmet Efe Baykurt was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 58 minutes, Çağrı Burçak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the İzmir FC and the Bahcekapi players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to İzmir FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Çağrı Burçak hit a great ball. When Bahcekapi's Suphi Evcimen in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye İzmir FC's goalie prevented a goal. Halil Utku Mert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emir İlksel in the 64th minute of play. Vahap Açar charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vahap Açar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Vahap Açar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emir İlksel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barbaros Başöz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Demir Arısal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerim Titiz in the 79th minute of the match. Halil Utku Mert was a little too slow when Emir İlksel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bahcekapi's goalkeeper Halil Utku Mert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th match minute, Bahcekapi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paşa Ali Celilay to maneuver through the defense. Bahcekapi's Halil Utku Mert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emir İlksel in the 90th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Erdem Erseven mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bahcekapi and the İzmir FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erdem Erseven hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. İzmir FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
