Ahmet Efe Baykurt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for İnanç Canbek. ◄▌Elit FC▐►'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Vahap İskenderoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emir İlksel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emir İlksel in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg İnanç Canbek saved ◄▌Elit FC▐► from getting behind. After 31 minutes of play, İzmir FC's Emir İlksel made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. İnanç Canbek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Demir Arısal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vahap İskenderoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vahap İskenderoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tayfur Namal's late challenge caught a ◄▌Elit FC▐►'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tayfur Namal helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes İzmir FC got a freekick which was hit by Tayfur Namal. Barbaros Başöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İnanç Canbek having to interfere. A hard shot 69 in the game by Bilgin Özertem from a close distance when the talented İnanç Canbek managed to make a qualified save. ◄▌Elit FC▐►'s players were relieved. Vahap İskenderoğlu struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Demir Arısal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ◄▌Elit FC▐►. İnanç Canbek was a little too slow when Barbaros Başöz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 91st minute, Tayfur Namal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kemalettin Eker thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Demir Arısal, a very annoying self made goal in the 92nd minute which led to 1-3.
