The coaching staff of BaskentBirLigi protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Baybars İley had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Kadiköy booed when BaskentBirLigi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baybars İley didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kadiköy's Mehmet Ali Onuralp in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BaskentBirLigi's goalie prevented a goal. Ahmet Ziya Işın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Müslüm Kocay in the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, BaskentBirLigi's goal looked a bit too open when Selman Kutalmış came free, but Ahmet Ziya Işın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Selman Kutalmış during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes Kadiköy got a freekick which was hit by Selman Kutalmış. In the 21st minute, Selman Kutalmış hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to BaskentBirLigi getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Berk Bekdemir hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Mehmet Ali Onuralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Ziya Işın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Selman Kutalmış ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Ziya Işın was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 36 minutes into the match, Kadiköy's goalkeeper Ali Cengiz Patlar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abay Özveri. 37 minutes into the match, BaskentBirLigi's goal looked a bit too open when Selman Kutalmış came free, but Ahmet Ziya Işın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tamer Üzer hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 42 minutes, Tamer Üzer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BaskentBirLigi and the Kadiköy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, BaskentBirLigi's Tamer Üzer got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 43 played minutes, Kadiköy's Selman Kutalmış shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmet Ziya Işın came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kadiköy reached it. Abay Özveri struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Ali Cengiz Patlar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BaskentBirLigi.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mehmet Ali Onuralp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 53 in the game by Müslüm Kocay from a close distance when the talented Ahmet Ziya Işın managed to make a qualified save. BaskentBirLigi's players were relieved. Müslüm Kocay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Müslüm Kocay got free with Ahmet Ziya Işın in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atilla Kağan Doğulu kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Ahmet Ziya Işın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selman Kutalmış, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, BaskentBirLigi's Kılıçalp Ayhan got a free kick in the 67th minute. Müslüm Kocay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 minutes, Doğaner Gençoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BaskentBirLigi and the Kadiköy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes BaskentBirLigi got a freekick which was hit by Doğaner Gençoğlu. The supporters of Kadiköy booed when BaskentBirLigi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batuğ Deveci didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Müslüm Kocay dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ahmet Ziya Işın, 0-2. Ali Cengiz Patlar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abay Özveri in the 94th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Müslüm Kocay got free with Ahmet Ziya Işın in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kadiköy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
