Cankut Ertüze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer in the 7th minute of play forced Sezai's goalkeeper Cankut Ertüze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erbatur Acıbadem's late challenge caught a Samsunspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Sezai got a freekick which was hit by Emin Onguner. In the 44th minute, Samsunspor's Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
Cankut Ertüze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer in the 52nd minute of the match. Erbatur Acıbadem hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Cankut Ertüze was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. The supporters of Samsunspor booed when Sezai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuncay Süleyman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Sezai's Cankut Ertüze. Cankut Ertüze was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Samsunspor walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
