After 20 minutes, Dursun Behzat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kozan SK and the Demetevler players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dursun Behzat the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kozan SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dursun Behzat had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kozan SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Demetevler a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. Kurtuluş Urandu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mecnun Şirzat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yavuz Bülent Bostancı's late challenge caught a Kozan SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yavuz Bülent Bostancı helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, Demetevler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yavuz Bülent Bostancı to maneuver through the defense. Türker Ersavaş's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mustafa Necati Taif read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Cüneyd Taçyıldız blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mustafa Necati Taif having to make a save. When Yavuz Bülent Bostancı was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. In the 87th minute Cüneyd Taçyıldız shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Necati Taif saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bahri Kadrettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes Kozan SK got a freekick which was hit by Özen Tengiroğlu.
