Özgün Hamurcu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Özgün Hamurcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer in the 32nd minute of play. Sufi Akdoğ charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sufi Akdoğ the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 played minutes MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK got a freekick which was hit by Sufi Akdoğ. Özgün Hamurcu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, Türkeş Batüralp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Özgün Hamurcu was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After 46 minutes of play, Samsunspor's Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Özgün Hamurcu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hasret Tansu to make the kick off. If Enis Nurbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özgün Hamurcu stood somewhat misplaced when Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 55 minute. When Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 58 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Özgün Hamurcu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's goal looked a bit too open when Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer came free, but Özgün Hamurcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 傅正卫 kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. A throw-in in the 64th minute of the game was made by Bican Erozan with Sufi Akdoğ as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer in the 65th minute of play forced MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's goalkeeper Özgün Hamurcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Özgün Hamurcu. Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Enis Nurbay's late challenge caught a MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enis Nurbay helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Samsunspor's Enis Nurbay got a free kick in the 74th minute. If Hasret Tansu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Özgün Hamurcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer in the 84th minute of the match. If Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's goal looked a bit too open when Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer came free, but Özgün Hamurcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Özgün Hamurcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urs-Peter Hindlmeyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Samsunspor were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
