Dilmen Eryildiz charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dilmen Eryildiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kozan SK booed when MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dilmen Eryildiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cüneyd Taçyıldız sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute Türker Ersavaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özgün Hamurcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cihat Yavuzcan kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Türker Ersavaş took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Özgün Hamurcu. MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Özgün Hamurcu came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Kozan SK's Türker Ersavaş. But to his dismay, Türker Ersavaş quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 39 minutes into the match, MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's goal looked a bit too open when Cüneyd Taçyıldız came free, but Özgün Hamurcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kozan SK were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Türker Ersavaş took the corner. In the 41st match minute, MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yaman Çakmur to maneuver through the defense. MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's Hasret Tansu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 44th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Türker Ersavaşs short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Özgün Hamurcu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 64th minute Özen Tengiroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Özgün Hamurcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bahri Kadrettin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Özgün Hamurcu having to make a save. After 68 played minutes MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK got a freekick which was hit by Türkeş Batüralp. Kurtuluş Urandu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sufi Akdoğ in the 71st minute of the match. Kurtuluş Urandu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasret Tansu in the 73rd minute of play. Özgün Hamurcu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Türker Ersavaş in the 75th minute. Bahri Kadrettin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Özgün Hamurcu made a huge save. When Hasret Tansu fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's protests and gave Hasret Tansu a yellow card for diving instead. Hasret Tansu kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. A collision led to MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Bican Erozan hit a great ball. MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK's Özgün Hamurcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Türker Ersavaş in the 83rd minute of play. Kozan SK played a much better game than MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK and deserved their victory. The MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATÜRK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
