Ali Haydar Oğuzata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tasova JK's Asım Yetkin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Tasova JK from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the match, Ankaragücü's goal looked a bit too open when Fetih Sayraç came free, but Rafael Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Eguen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fetih Sayraç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet İlhan Şahbender's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Asım Yetkin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ankaragücü's Ali Haydar Oğuzata was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ahmet İlhan Şahbender hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Fetih Sayraç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tasova JK's Asım Yetkin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Tasova JK from getting a goal against them. Ali Haydar Oğuzatas short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Asım Yetkin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rafael Eguen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fetih Sayraç, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Tasova JK's Fetih Sayraç got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gökhan Ertüze scored 1-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Eguen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Rıfkı Sebukalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute, Gökhan Ertüze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tasova JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rıfkı Sebukalp in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Asım Yetkin saved Tasova JK from getting behind. In the 46th minute of the match Cengiz Bozkaya shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Eguen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Ahmet İlhan Şahbender had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Rıfkı Sebukalp made the kick off in the second half. Asım Yetkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıfkı Sebukalp in the 53rd minute of play. Ali Haydar Oğuzata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kenan Kapar in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Asım Yetkin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tasova JK's Gökhan Ertüze got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Kenan Kapar came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Ankaragücü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenan Kapar couldn't finish the play. Ankaragücü's Rafael Eguen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Ankaragücü from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Ankaragücü's Rafael Eguen got control of the ball when Gökhan Ertüze tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Ankaragücü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet İlhan Şahbender to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute Ali Haydar Oğuzata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asım Yetkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ankaragücü booed when Tasova JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yusuf Ziya Ünver didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute Ali Haydar Oğuzata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asım Yetkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rıfkı Sebukalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asım Yetkin having to interfere. Zeki Taykurt hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Rafael Eguen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 79th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cengiz Bozkaya. Rafael Eguen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Uğuralp Tanyıldız showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 81 minute of play. Ankaragücü's Rafael Eguen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uğuralp Tanyıldız in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Yusuf Ziya Ünver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Ankaragücü's Ahmet İlhan Şahbender sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Asım Yetkin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ankaragücü's Rafael Eguen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Ankaragücü from getting a goal against them. Ankaragücü's Ali Haydar Oğuzata got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Ankaragücü supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tasova JK's performance. The match ended with a win for Tasova JK.
