After having played for 17 minutes, Ali Haydar Oğuzata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ankaragücü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Haydar Oğuzata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Danış Orbey in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Eguen saved Ankaragücü from getting behind. Rafael Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Göktuğ Trabzonlu in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Arda Göksel Demirtaş ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafael Eguen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Kenan Kapar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Serdar Uğursel. That made the score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Tirebolu FK's goalkeeper Serdar Uğursel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rıfkı Sebukalp. Serdar Uğursel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ankaragücü's Rıfkı Sebukalp shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After 44 minutes, Ahmet Danış Orbey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tirebolu FK and the Ankaragücü players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ankaragücü's supporters rose to their feet, but Rıfkı Sebukalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serdar Uğursel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet İlhan Şahbender struck a weak shot in the 61st minute.
