Baybora Saip showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Ceandro, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Şahin Boran's late challenge caught a Kocamustafapaşa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şahin Boran helped the player get up and apologised. Şahin Boran kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Hayati Erdem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nebi Usun, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Ogün Bala took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hayati Erdem. Hayati Erdem dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erubiel Ceandro made a kick off. If Erubiel Ceandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute Tansu Ermiye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baybora Saip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hayati Erdem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nebi Usun in the 57th minute of the match. Atilla Bumin Tunçtürk charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atilla Bumin Tunçtürk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Kocamustafapaşa got a freekick which was hit by Atilla Bumin Tunçtürk. 60 minutes into the match, Trabzonspor's Nebi Usun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hayati Erdem narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute of the match Trabzonspor got a corner. Kocamustafapaşa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Recep Canay ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kocamustafapaşa's goalie and right to Ahmet Bedri Erginsoy. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kocamustafapaşa's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 68 minutes into the game, Ahmet Kutsi Sayyad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kocamustafapaşa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trabzonspor the free kick. Ahmet Kutsi Sayyad kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Taner Ulutan didn't quite understand what happened when in the 70 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Nebi Usun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Hazım Perkin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kocamustafapaşa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hazım Perkin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Kocamustafapaşa's Erubiel Ceandro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baybora Saip made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. If Nebi Usun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute.
