The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sungurbey Özdağ came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR's Carlos Alberto Guedes. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto Guedes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Özden Üzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR's Carlos Alberto Guedes got a free kick in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR's Akay Özgun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sungurbey Özdağ narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, Ahmet Göktuğ Ulubek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KRİZANTEM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR the free kick. Ahmet Göktuğ Ulubek hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, Erbatur Öztay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KRİZANTEM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in KRİZANTEM fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! Remzi Mertkan might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sungurbey Özdağ. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remzi Mertkan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute of the match KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR got a corner. KRİZANTEM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Akay Özgun ran over to the corner to take the kick. KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR's Akay Özgun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sungurbey Özdağ in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Özden Üzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Teo Ugaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, KRİZANTEM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orçun Ezgü to maneuver through the defense. Sungurbey Özdağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruhi Cesur in the 32nd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Remzi Mertkan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Sungurbey Özdağ was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Özden Üzer charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Özden Üzer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Özden Üzer kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The KRİZANTEM players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Özden Üzer made the kick off in the second half. If Özden Üzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akay Özgun's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Sungurbey Özdağ skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 57 minutes into the game, Akay Özgun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sungurbey Özdağ. Akay Özgun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Sungurbey Özdağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Guedes in the 61st minute of the match. Akay Özgun struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Sungurbey Özdağ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR. In the 68th minute, Akay Özgun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR's goalkeeper Teo Ugaitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Carlos Alberto Guedes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sungurbey Özdağ. KRİZANTEM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Alberto Guedes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR's Remzi Mertkan got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Özden Üzer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Özden Üzer hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 91 played minutes KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Bünyamin Çetinsoy. In the 94th minute KRİZANTEM were awarded a corner. Necdet Köker went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on KRİZANTEM's corner Necdet Köker fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Teo Ugaitz quite easily take care of the ball. Özden Üzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Teo Ugaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
