Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lefter Eker made the kick off which started today's match. If Arif Tugay Şencan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yusuf Ziya Akkoyun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arif Tugay Şencan's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Yusuf Ziya Akkoyun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceyhun Acarbay in the 7th minute of the match. Arif Tugay Şencan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yusuf Ziya Akkoyun having to interfere. The supporters of Izmit booed when Pazar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vahap Bartu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arif Tugay Şencan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lefter Eker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pazar's goalkeeper Yusuf Ziya Akkoyun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gökçe Avcu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Lefter Eker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Pazar's Lefter Eker in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Izmit's goalie prevented a goal. 25 minutes into the game, Izmit's Ceyhun Acarbay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yusuf Ziya Akkoyun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Gökçe Avcu came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Pazar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gökçe Avcu couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Izmit's goalkeeper Cemalettin Uçman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cemalettin Uçman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lefter Eker in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
In the 57th minute Gökçe Avcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cemalettin Uçman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Gökçe Avcu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pazar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökçe Avcu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Arif Tugay Şencan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vahap Bartu during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pazar getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Vahap Bartu hit a great ball. Gökçe Avcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cemalettin Uçman having to interfere. Orçun Koytan kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gökçe Avcu in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cemalettin Uçman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arif Tugay Şencan struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Yusuf Ziya Akkoyun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Izmit. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Izmit had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
