A very good chance. Ceyhun Acarbay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Tahir Bayezit made a huge save. YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB's Tahir Bayezit proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Numan Onuk in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cemalettin Uçman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cemalettin Uçman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Numan Onuk went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arif Tugay Şencan made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB's Numan Onuk slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cemalettin Uçman. That made the score 1-3 after 54 minutes of play. Atalay Nihat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Ceyhun Acarbay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Izmit's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceyhun Acarbay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Izmit's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Samim Zafer was slow to take the kick. During this time YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB's players had a chance to rest. In the 66th minute of the match Samim Zafer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cemalettin Uçman skillfully saved the ball. When Numan Onuk came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Numan Onuk couldn't finish the play. Numan Onuk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cemalettin Uçman having to make a save. 70 minutes into the match, Menderes Kamaci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cemalettin Uçman. Izmit's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Menderes Kamaci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Bülent Akşin hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Numan Onuk got free with Cemalettin Uçman in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute of the match Mustafa Haydar İrfanoğlu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cemalettin Uçman skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Numan Onuk in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cemalettin Uçman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Menderes Kamaci hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Yavuz Selimhan Recai took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tahir Bayezit. YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Tugay Şencan in the 95th minute of play forced YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB's goalkeeper Tahir Bayezit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Numan Onuks short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Cemalettin Uçman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the final whistle sounded YILDIZ FOOTBALL CLUB left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Izmit.
