After 24 played minutes Antalyaspor got a freekick which was hit by Emirhan Oksay. A collision led to Antalyaspor getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Selçuk İmar hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, KELKITSPOR's Azim Nafiz threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sungurhan Akçiçek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gencalp Baycan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Denizhan Özsen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Saffet Türkyılmaz. The goal made the score 0-2. Saffet Türkyılmaz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aykan Ceberut went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. KELKITSPOR's Saffet Türkyılmaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save KELKITSPOR from getting a goal against them. Eralp Başbuğoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Antalyaspor's Reis Özerdem got a free kick in the 84th minute. Eralp Başbuğoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Azim Nafiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Although KELKITSPOR had been in control for most of the match, Antalyaspor still came away with the win.
