Ahmet Oğuz Bakanay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giray Aktaş's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Şimşek Azimoğlu struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Ahmet Oğuz Bakanay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eminönü. In the 19th minute Ceyhan Şenyaşar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şükrü Ersevim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Ceyhan Şenyaşar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ahmet Oğuz Bakanay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 35th minute, Eminönü's Giray Aktaş ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ahmet Oğuz Bakanay. Ahmet Oğuz Bakanay yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Şükrü Ersevim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceyhan Şenyaşar in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricard McGlynn during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ricard McGlynn kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Şükrü Ersevim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceyhan Şenyaşar, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Şimşek Azimoğlu made a kick off. Şimşek Azimoğlu scored 3-3 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Oğuz Bakanay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giray Aktaş in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Oğuz Bakanay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Fevzi Tezkan in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Eminönü's Ahmet Ömür Özyurek. Şükrü Ersevim made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Jânio do Valle sent off a good shot on target. After 62 minutes, Jânio do Valle made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. Eminönü's Şükrü Ersevim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the match, Eminönü's goalkeeper Şükrü Ersevim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jânio do Valle. 71 minutes into the match, Eminönü's goal looked a bit too open when Ceyhan Şenyaşar came free, but Şükrü Ersevim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Giray Aktaş made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Oğuz Bakanay. Arya-Lina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-4. Ceyhan Şenyaşar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Eminönü fully deserved thier win.
