With a couple of smart ball manuevers Süruri Kose in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bedrettin Akşin saved KIZIL KURTLAR from getting behind. Arif Ozan Aktaşoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arif Ozan Aktaşoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, Manchester City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Ozan Aktaşoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Bedrettin Akşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harun Oymen in the 10th minute of the match. Erim Taykurt hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Manchester City FC defense, Ernesto Leguizamón kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şensoy Yücealp. The Manchester City FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şensoy Yücealp should have stopped the shot. Bedrettin Akşin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Besim Şakib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Leguizamón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şensoy Yücealp having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, KIZIL KURTLAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Leguizamón to maneuver through the defense. Manchester City FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Ernesto Leguizamón scored to the left of an out of position Şensoy Yücealp, making the score, 2-1. KIZIL KURTLAR's Ernesto Leguizamón got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Durmuş Bahadıroğlu in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by KIZIL KURTLAR's Mehmet Arif Sani. Erim Taykurt kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernesto Leguizamón made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Harun Oymen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester City FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harun Oymen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Şensoy Yücealp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Leguizamón, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A throw-in in the 68th minute of the game was made by Aktaç Bektaş with Durmuş Bahadıroğlu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 71st minute Ernesto Leguizamón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şensoy Yücealp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ali Erdem Tercan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the match, Manchester City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Leguizamón came free, but Şensoy Yücealp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 75 minutes, Ernesto Leguizamón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 82nd minute, Süruri Kose hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the game, Aktaç Bektaş was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester City FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KIZIL KURTLAR the free kick. In the 84th minute, Aktaç Bektaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Romashov, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Manchester City FC booed when KIZIL KURTLAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Domeradzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harun Oymen in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bedrettin Akşin prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
