The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nedim Songurhan during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th match minute, KOCAELİSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nedim Songurhan to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes Al-Em Teknik got a freekick which was hit by Hulki Şirzat. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yakup Kadri Kani to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Nuralp Timuroz came free, but Aykan Ersezer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Al-Em Teknik's Kuzey Erdurmus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Aykan Ersezer made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Nuralp Timuroz sent off a good shot on target. When Ricardinho Falcão fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Al-Em Teknik's protests and gave Ricardinho Falcão a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Ricardinho Falcão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Al-Em Teknik walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
