Spectators: 7664 (Terracing: 5749, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Can Savtekin kicked off to start the match. Gültepe's Isac Baião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by J.J Macias in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Gültepe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feridun Yengi to maneuver through the defense. Abdi Saygın Özerek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Can Savtekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Birant Yesar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Abdi Saygın Özerek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birant Yesar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Abdi Saygın Özerek made a huge save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bornova fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Can Savtekin in the 29th minute of play forced Bornova's goalkeeper Abdi Saygın Özerek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bornova's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Can Savtekin 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. When J.J Macias came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Bornova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that J.J Macias couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Birant Yesar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdi Saygın Özerek was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Abdi Saygın Özerek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Can Savtekin in the 42nd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when J.J Macias made the kick off in the second half. Şaban Köklem struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Abdi Saygın Özerek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gültepe. But to his dismay, Can Savtekin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 76th minute, Gazi Kaan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdi Saygın Özerek came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Gültepe's Birant Yesar. But to his dismay, Birant Yesar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Abdi Saygın Özerek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bayezit Tamer's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Şaban Köklem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Can Savtekin in the 92nd minute of play forced Bornova's goalkeeper Abdi Saygın Özerek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Birant Yesar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gökhan Umur charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gökhan Umur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gültepe fully deserved thier win.
