A collision led to STRATEJİ 48 getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Roy Makaay hit a great ball. Tuncay Erçetin hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Manuel Vorniceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helmut Müllerwiebus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Vorniceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aybars Onursay in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Nut Power 28's goal looked a bit too open when Aybars Onursay came free, but Manuel Vorniceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Aybars Onursay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Vorniceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Vorniceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Makaay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. STRATEJİ 48 were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Nut Power 28's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Billy Carr took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Billy Carr got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manuel Vorniceanu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 30 played minutes Nut Power 28 got a freekick which was hit by Ruslan Cazacu. 35 minutes into the match, Neil Cheeseman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aktuğ Sıraç, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Roy Makaay made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Alkın Bilgehan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manuel Vorniceanu. Alkın Bilgehan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neil Cheeseman in the 56th minute of play forced STRATEJİ 48's goalkeeper Aktuğ Sıraç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 57 in the game by Roy Makaay from a close distance when the talented Manuel Vorniceanu managed to make a qualified save. Nut Power 28's players were relieved. 64 minutes into the match, STRATEJİ 48's goal looked a bit too open when Alperen Okergun came free, but Aktuğ Sıraç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute of the match Helmut Müllerwiebus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Vorniceanu skillfully saved the ball. Billy Carr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Manuel Vorniceanu made a huge save. Aktuğ Sıraç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuncay Erçetin, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Aybars Onursay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Manuel Vorniceanu made a huge save. Manuel Vorniceanu came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by STRATEJİ 48's Billy Carr. But to his dismay, Billy Carr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Nut Power 28's Manuel Vorniceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Makaay in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute Roy Makaay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Vorniceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Vorniceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Makaay in the 83rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Helmut Müllerwiebus got free with Manuel Vorniceanu in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roy Makaay in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Vorniceanu saved Nut Power 28 from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. STRATEJİ 48 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
