Batur Tarhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helmut Müllerwiebus, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. STRATEJİ 48's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Tuna Yaslı scored to the left of an out of position Aktuğ Sıraç, making the score, 1-0. 36 minutes into the match, Helmut Müllerwiebus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Batur Tarhan. SH Futbol Kulübü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Helmut Müllerwiebus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 41 minutes into the match, SH Futbol Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Makaay came free, but Batur Tarhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Roy Makaay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Batur Tarhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Holger Fastesson made the kick off in the second half. Roy Makaay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Thanks to some nice moves Helmut Müllerwiebus could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Batur Tarhan however easily saved by the left post. Tuna Yaslı took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aktuğ Sıraç. Aktuğ Sıraç dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. SH Futbol Kulübü's Mustafa Haydar Çiftçioğlu was substituted for Tuna Yaslı. Batur Tarhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helmut Müllerwiebus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 2-3 became the score in the 83rd minute when Roy Makaay elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 89th minute Roy Makaay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batur Tarhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
