In the 26th match minute, Trabzonspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Recep Talha Zeval to maneuver through the defense. When Cevat Acartürk came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Trabzonspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cevat Acartürk couldn't finish the play. But to his dismay, Sadettin Özkan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. İsmail Orhun Öğüç really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Hadi Bedel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruhi Serdar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sorgun's Haldun Tefhim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Recep Talha Zeval in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faruk Nafiz Safa made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ruhi Serdar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hadi Bedel.
