A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 20th minute, Abdi Adar made a precise shot to the right of Cankut Mansız. Kurucesme SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 22 played minutes Malkara SK got a freekick which was hit by Abdi Mehmet Korhan. The supporters of Kurucesme SK booed when Malkara SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sufi Buğra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeki Fırıncıoğlu's late challenge caught a Malkara SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeki Fırıncıoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58thth minute of the game Abdi Adar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kurucesme SK's Cankut Mansız was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
